About Mark Player

Mark began his career in the thoroughbred industry in 1998 as the inaugural chief executive officer of New Zealand Thoroughbred marketing before being appointed as the director for Equine business development with racing Victoria in 2002.

Mark’s skill and professionalism within the Racing Victoria role earned him a place in Hong Kong as the Jockey Club’s Head of International Races, Sales and Development. Mark successfully established a truly global operation with Horse purchases from around the world. He later returned to Australia and established International Thoroughbred Solutions, which focused on his real passion of bloodstock and consultancy.

 

In 2020, Mark joined the Federation of Bloodstock Agents Australia (FBAA) as he believed they closely aligned with his values and everything he strives to achieve with ITS.
